Steve Scarborough has more than 35 years experience in law enforcement with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (yes the CSI) and the FBI. He is an accomplished technical writer with 30 articles in trade magazines and professional journals, including the article Getting the Forensic Facts Right for the Writer. Two published humor books, Not Tonight Dear, I Have a Computer, and the Hired Defense Witness Jokebook. His novel, Scraffito, is a murder mystery set in Costa Rica. A short story, Quake Prince, appeared in the anthology Felons, Flames, and Ambulance Rides. Two non-fiction books on the crippling of forensic science by the defense community, The Hijack of Forensic Science, and It’s About Time We Admit We Were Wrong. His new book, True Crime in Real Time, is out now on Amazon and Genius Books.
